Material Innovation for MUJI

The project started with expanding the brand MUJI by exploring color, materials and finishes. After studying the brand and it’s philosophy the new concept wanted to target the responsible ‘millennial’ population.

The concept takes its inspiration from ‘MUDA’ a Japanese term which means “waste management”. Using the same principles the project engages into an iterative process of exploring food waste and converting them into objects of use.
